Madame de Pompadour. One of the most powerful women in France and one of the greatest patrons in the history of the world. A determined woman, who fought for the art and ideals of many artists and philosophers such as Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Denis Diderot to be able to leave the walls of France and gain the respect of the court of Versailles and capture the attention of the world. But it was only in 1744 that Pompadour was able to conceive her most important work. It wasn’t the porcelain of Sèvres, neither the Petit Trianon or the Élysée Palace. It was the birth of Alexandrine Le Normant d’Étiolles, her only daughter. Almost three centuries later, Alexandrine is born again, with the same determination, passion and love for the fine arts as her mother.This is the core of the Alexandrine brand, which has a single mission: to continue the legacy of Madame de Pompadour.
